DuraBlue is an easy to use spray on coating that replicates the look of hot bluing but without the cost or unpleasantness that comes with it.
Simple spray application eliminates need for dangerous and expensive chemicals. No maintenance, no oil, yet never worry about rust. And the best part is you can do it yourself at home or in your shop.
Apply with an airbrush or spray gun or use the convenient aerosol can. Liquid version can be applied with any airbrush or a spray gun with a tip size between 0.5 and 1mm. DuraBlue is a two-part coating. Hardener is included with the purchase of any size.

Spray Can Application
Turned out pretty good. Color and finish are great. Just do not try and empty can out when it starts getting low. Comes out in short bursts and splatters. I have to buy another can to fix a few pieces. Bummer!

Great coating
I have been professionally applying DuraCoat since 2017. It is still the toughest and easiest coating on the market. When applied properly you just can't beat it.

The spray on product is easy to mix and use. The durability seems satisfactory in 2 outings since coating a 1911. I did not get a shiney blue finish but it may be due to application. Still, I am very happy with results.
